Welcome to the
San Diego Bead Society!

The San Diego Bead Society is a dynamic community for all those who are passionate about beading and bead-related arts.  During this COVID-19 pandemic, we have suspended our monthly meetings and guest artists who previously presented their work to our members.  We have pivoted to online classes and presentations.

We previously met on the third Saturday of the month at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center.  We do not currently have an update as to when we can safely resume our meeting and in-classroom calendar.

In the meantime, stay healthy, stay informed, and check back frequently to see what we’re up to.  If you are not receiving our semi-weekly newsletter, or if you have any questions, please drop us an email at sdbeadsociety@gmail.com.

Please see our Meeting Calendar page for more information about our upcoming meetings, and feel free to explore our website for details about our many activities.

You can also find us on Facebook, where, if you like our page,
you’ll be the first to know about upcoming classes and events!

We’d love to support others who are passionate about beading and jewelry making and help get the word out about what’s out there as much as possible. Please shoot us an email at sdbeadsociety@gmail.com and we’ll make it happen!

Announcing the Kandi Program!

New for 2021, we’re launching a series of affordable mini-classes on making new kinds of bead art with Perler/melty beads and pony beads! You can sign up for our first introductory class below or check out more information on the Kandi Program here.
